I finished the mouse pin cushion, however I filled it with cat nip and put a parachute cord from the nose for play and a tail. I did put the herb inside a make your own teabag. I don't think it would help, should he get through the felt. Please do not mind the hand stitching, the cat doesn't. Hubby gave it to him before I could snap a pic. Thanks for looking.

What a beautiful boy!! I, too, tied a bit of shoe lace onto my cat's play mouse, and he carries it around by hooking the lace over his lower canine tooth (only has one now)...he drags the mouse on the floor--but his fave toy.

He may be spoiled, but he's beautiful. I still laugh when I remember Sugartoes refusing to play with the LIVE mouse that was running laps trying to get out of my round bathtub. He was like a cyclist in a velodrome, and Sugar was NOT amused. I kept crying, Sugar! Mouse! MOUSE! SUGAR! and he looked back with that attitude, I've got food in the bowl.
