Here we all are at the NEC in Birmingham yesterday. (Not sure what the joke was!)<br /><br />

New recruit is my big sister Pat who is learning to use our late sister's embroidery machine - and who bought lots of fabric at the show!

It was a really good day out, Gill didn't want anything but by the end of the day she was loaded down with goodies, my bags are hidden by Ann but I got a new medium sized frame from the Brother stand and lots of fabric and wool. Brilliant day, now I'm resting with my feet up and knitting needles clicking. Hugs Jo

What is the price for a yard of nice quilting cotton?
I paid £8 a metre, there was some on offer for half that, and super quality for £12 plus. A fabricaholics idea of heaven!

They bought stacks of stuff - this was taken half way through the day!
I got loads of people at the show commenting on my jacket the answer is 'NO' it is an Indigo Moon available on ebay.

OH Sue, I wish I could have been there with you too! There is nothing like a day with girlfriends! Do you all have those British accents? You look like such a friendly group! I would have worn my best jeans and my heather plum colored cotton sweater and I know I would have spent too much on fabric. Thanks for sharing your pictures!
