I believe they're ceramic, when you bake them in the kiln has to have a hole so they won't blow up. ( I think.) Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yes they are ceramic eggs I made many years ago. The other egg is a Ukrainian egg that my husband's grandmother made in the old country & brought them with them when they moved to this country many years ago. It is very old
It always amazes me the pretty objects I see in photos of neat things folks have, like this, makes for nice photos!
I thought the props would make a good presentation
