Second part of the Birthdaygift for my GD.
I made the jacket matching the strawberrydress and the new skirt.
The jacket is practical, because she can make a better fit with the ribbon on the back and the cuff on the sleves.
The Embroidery is from Design by Juju (Raggedy Flowers). On the edges of the flower I have still to work, may be, it will be better after washing.

How very pretty! How old is your GD? I used to have a shirt that I made out of that exact same design of fabric. But unless you have been keeping it for a long time, it must be on the second time around. :)

My GD has her 6. Birthday. The strawberryfabric I buyed 3 weeks ago and the fabric of the jacket is a leftover, may be 2 years old.

The pattern for the skirt "Insa" and the jacket "Avalon" I found in the book "Sewing clothes kids love" from Nancy J. S. Langdon & Sabine Pollehn, there are included 8 other patterns (for 1 to 13 years old children) too.
