Those of you making quilts, all the scrap wadding can be torn up and used to fill dolls and other stuffed toys.Stuff it in nice and firm.Works great and saves having to buy toy filler.

Have done that and i blend sometimes the cotton threads in with it. all depends what i am making.

Have done that and sometimes did the toy filler at the outside, the torn up scraps on the inside, just to make sure the toy did not show bumps. For cushions I use to sheets of wadding, filled with torn up remnants.

now thats a good idea! I hope I keep it in mind till the next time I need to stuff something -am planning some stuffed decorations for our Christmas tree cos I'd like a country Christmas theme this year. we'll see how much time I have to finish them but anyway thanks for the good tip mpo. *4u

Good suggestion. They can also be used to make hot pads or even maybe coasters.

I even stitched a couple of pieces together with a zig zag stitch to make a small quilt.
Done that too.
