It seems as though disasters are happening on varying scales throughout the world right now. Right here at home is no exception. You may or may not have seen the news about the massive mudslide that hit a community in Washington State. My husband's best buddy from high school lost his house, wife and 4 month old grand baby in this slide. 108 others are still missing, and the slide keeps on growing. This community could use all of the prayers that they can get. Thank you!

Yes, tonight it really seemed like the evening news was mostly a call to prayer. Please extend my sympathies to your husband's good friend in his loss.

Oh I'm so sorry...I live on Whidbey Island and also have some family in that area. But everyone's fine. A girl I work with, daughter has a friend that's missing. It's now up to 178 people missing. So sad.
