Tech Tip Viruses and Malware. If your computer is acting strange or you notice pop-ups that will not stop, your computer is probably infected with viruses and/or Malware. In order to fix this, you will need to run an antivirus program that is NOT on your system as the one you have will be unable to detect the issue. That is because the bad stuff has either turned off your protection or allowed itself to be exempt from a scan. Please use one of the links I will provide to do an online scan or a manual scan.

Remember, you should only have ONE active (automatic) antivirus program at a time running on any computer. The links I will provide are manually run -- so they will not conflict with your resident software.
