I like these designs that aren't too dense. They are very lovely on this fabric. If the fabric is at least half cotton, you can use them as hand towels instead of paper towels in the kitchen. They'd also be nice as a mini placemat to put under things that get drippy like gravy bowls or salad dressings bottles.
