Help what am I to do?
I had to phone my dealer today to ask for some help. While we were sorting my question out he said that he had a virtually new Brother Galaxie 3000 just like mine in. He had traded it in for a newer machine to a very careful owner who had hardly used the machine. It is being sold at a very reasonable price. I don't need another machine but having heard about it and coming with the recommendation I want it. Urg what does one do in the circumstances? My older daughter said on get it mum. Now my mind is thinking. All replies are most welcome and Dennis please can we have the male perspective. If I got it I would have 2 Galaxie 3000 and the PR650 and currently there is room for it BUT...
Muffy :)

It very much sounds to me that you would love to own this machine and that you have a trusting relationship with your dealer. My own view is that if you had not considered the need for this additional machine, you would have put it out of your mind immediately the offer had been made. No, you clearly see the benefits and have taken counsell from your eldest daughter and she has raised no questions regarding the purchase with you.
All you ladies deserve and need a treat every so often and so I would say "Give yourself the treat that you deserve."
"To me from me with love. I owe it to myself and no one is depriving me of it."
How many years of enjoyment are you worth?

I love my machine but if I could buy another machine I would choose one that offers a much larger hoop, like the 350x360mm (14x14" approx.).

If the thought of a larger hoop, which allows you to embroider larger spaces more easily, doesn't appeal to you, then go for the second Galaxie 3000. Good luck!
