On the day of the quilt distribution I was talking to a lady Marie , who lived up the road a little from me who lost her home , she told me she liked to knit her own socks ,but liked the older patterns , because she had wider legs than the newer patterns.I remembered I had an older book from my mum ,I think about the 40's ,so I offered it to her , she was so happy that she would now be able to knit some more socks ,so I decided I would make her a knitting bag to keep it all in ,the designs was a freebie from Embroidery Library ,Ii gives me great joy to ARK(act of random kindness)

It's not random. You know her and you knew what she loved to do and what she needed (old sock patterns). Random would be throwing quarters down in a parking lot and walking away. When someone has lost nearly everything, it is the person to person contacts that heal. My tax lady lost her home and everything in a fire years ago and she said she would not want it back or undo anything, because she found out people care and that she had lots more friends than she was aware of and that was worth everything.
