One of most favorite students I had in fourth grade was married yesterday and we actually went to the wedding in western Colorado. She and her new husband really love the LOVE chapter, the one that starts with Love is Patient, Love is Kind... In 1st Corinthians 13. So I made them a lap quilt with the set from Embroidery Library with the bunnies. The quilting wasn't perfect, but the designs turned out great, and the quilt itself was very special. Their colors were that lime-ish green and peach with a touch of cream. They were married in a vineyard so I had to add purple. I tried to make it look contemporary with the color designs too. They were really surprised when they unwrapped it this morning!
