Hi Polly, I had a pair of those Stork scissors and once had a pair of those girly ones. Love the coloured handles on the shears though! Well done that you found them. Had a relaxing day at Meg's today - didn't do a thing! he he he, love Chris

I use the stork scissors for appliques. What I love about them they are sharp clear to the tip, I have some other scissors where they won't cut at the tip. Nice collection!

A flooded sewing room was a rather drastic way of finding your scissors. They are lovely scissors so enjoy using them again

I am, of course, delighted to hear that your recent unfortunate troubles have been resolved and that during the course of restoration you have found your favourite scissors (although I suspect that this will not be the full inventory).
Now you thought that I was going to make some sarcastic remarks about this, didn't you? lol

It did cross my mind that, perhaps, you could recommend this 'flooding experience' as a solution to other Cuties who have also misplaced scissors and the like. After all, there does seem to be a bit of a watery theme running here what with O2 finding her thumb drive in the washing machine and now you finding four pairs of scissors.

Yea! It's good to have your scissors back where they belong. I, however, have still not found my missing scissors. And sorry Dennis, No flooding here.

I am so happy you found them!
Your shears are wonderful! I don't suppose they are available to purchase new scissors like them anymore are they?

Those little girly scissors are SO cute! I have never seen scissors like that. We all should have a pair or two of them in our collection, including Dennis!! lol. Do you know what those are called, or who makes them? Flowers!

You can tell these are well loved scissors by the wearing of the paint on the handles- I hope that they are never misplaced again and that those nice stork embroidery scissors continue to stay sharp to the very tip.

So glad you have found them, I wonder what else will turn up?? Please tell me if the scissors with the girls on them are any good. I noticed that our local sewing shop was selling them and I wondered if they would be good for jump stitches.
