We've had a get together today - unfortunately without Pam (justsew) who is struggling with a poorly car. We missed Scottie, of course, but Gill (gillemmerson on the left) and Jo (rosakent on the right) took some of her fabric stash home with them to play with.
Jo brought an excellent steamed cake with her, made from Shirley's recipe in the link below.

Gosh that was quick, Sue, I've only just arrived home 5 mins ago. It was a lovely lunch and a really informative lesson on how to improve my embroidery filing skills. Thanks Sue I really enjoyed it and thanks Gill for the easter egg!

lovely photo of my friends, and I missed the love and oneness that you get on a Cuties get together day,, but car had other plans. I know i missed a great day, I am sad because I felt it was a special one.

Looks like you had a great day. I miss days like this. Was the licking of the lips from the thought of the Easter Egg, Or was it from eating the steamed cake. I would like to think it was the cake. LOL Hugs Shirley

The cake was delicious, Shirley, my husband is enjoying the last one. I'm now saving more tins for another batch, the last lot got thrown away.
I'm collecting tins as well.
I wonder how long it will be before we have a thread started displaying Cuties tin can collections................
