I made these 3 pencil bags, not for pencils, but for sewing notions. The pencil bag pattern is from 'allstitching' and is made in the hoop. She has various designs on the bags (the bear was one of them) and she gives a blank pencil bag on which you can embroider your own design, which is what I did with the other 2 bags.

what a lovely idea... in fact I think I add a couple of these to my 'projects to do' list..... just had this idea of doing some with Christmas designs to put use for wrapping small gifts but I really like that one you made with that wonderful quote (I need to keep that in mind at the time being). well done, you deserve a bunch *****
