I have to say that I am happy to be DONE! I think I may have over done the quilting on Miss Ava's but I love it. I quilted the the first J with white thread in the bobbin & then I had to spend 40 minutes colouring the tiny bits of white that you could see through the red on the front so when I did our oldest daughter's I figured it had to be red thread in the bobbin too & it shows odd the quilting free motion quite well & doesn't look half bad for my second try at it. I think the quilting & bindings took longer then the embroidery. Each place~mat matches the personality of the owners so I hope that they are all pleased with them.
