Tuesday I took my husband to the hospital for the third time in 3 weeks. They are still running tests. I am hoping for good news. He could use all of your prayers. Thank you to all that can pray for him. Joyce

My husband, Charlie, Is getting better. They got the results from the blood culture they did and could treat the infection. The first 2 visits were for breathing problems. The nurse told me this infection could be a result of that. Tues we were on the way to the doctors office for a follow-up visit when he started getting sick. By the time we got to the doctors office he was so sick they called the ambulance to take him to hospital. I have been told now that this infection is very fast acting. Yesterday they started with the correct antibiotic and he started getting better. I could see an improvement gradually all day. Thank you all for your prayers. I am so thankful they found the kind of infection and could treat it. Time for me to get ready to go back to the hospital. I have spent so much time there. Again that you all for your prayers and thoughts, I am so thankful. Joyce

That is wonderful news, Joyce, that your hubby is steadily improving. May this continue and that he will be back home very soon. It sounds to me that you could do with some looking after as well, so please take care and don't overdo things whilst he is in hospital.

I have brought Charlie home from the hospital. Still not entirely well but it will take time. Dennis, thank you for your concern for me. You know it is harder with him being home. I might have to change my name, but there is no one else here. But if I needed him, my son only lives 3 miles away. I can always call him and he will come. Thank you everyone for your continued prayers. Joyce

Delighted to hear that both you and your husband are back at home together. Being at home is itself a good healer but as you say, his recovery will take time. As in my case, I have always thought that I have had the easy part of things with Ann having to do all the running around and worrying. It is good that your son is nearby and will help you both. Don't be too proud to ask for his help though. Take care Joyce.

Dear Joyce, I'm so happy to read that your husband is back home and this is (as Dennis has said) the best place to recuperate. I'll certainly continue to pray for complete healing, love and blessings Chris

Continuing to pray for you and Charlie, Joyce. Please make sure you take time for yourself. Since your son is near, let him help you. It's hard to be the sole caretaker. Hugs!

Taking care of yourself is primary on the agenda, it is not selfish but necessary. Please be kind enough to ask your son or rather let your son help with your husband. He needs to know his help is wanted and needed also as well as to have peace of mind that he did everything he could to be an aide to you both. Peace and Prayers. Thank you for allowing me to do this for you, Leaha
