Hi,

Definition of happiness: I've finished downloading my cute embroidery designs! And my amazing embroidery designs! (I forgot about the edr files, but I think I will just let them be...)

I managed to save enough to buy memberships for both in January, also at the reduced price. (I skimped a bit on other stuff, but so what...)

They are basically sorted in relevant folders, but my sorting definitely needs more attention. I will do that later, much later. Definitely after I finished some projects...

For now, I am planning which projects to start with what. I now have an amazing design "hoard" (like Dennis would say) as I had a trial membership at adesigninstitches before the web site closed down, and I managed to download most of their projects that I liked. Those also need fine-tuning in the sorting of folders department (yes, they are still not satisfactorily sorted after almost 3 years!)

I never got to say thank you to that web site owner, as she introduced me to ITH. Should anyone know her, or should she read this, thank you very much. Until I discovered that site by accident, I never realized you don't just have to buy designs, and then figure out what to do with what. You can actually buy amazing ITH projects! You can actually finish a project in the hoop!

And with Embird, you can create your own ITH project and add any design to it! You can add those beautiful designs from cute embroidery or amazing embroidery designs to your own personal use ITH projects! (These are for personal use only, to create items to give away as presents, or sell at church bazaars). What a pleasure.

ITH is my BIG, BIG BIG favourite way of making projects.

And cute embroidery and amazing embroidery are my favourite sites for designs. Don't think about June, don't think about June, (thats when my memberships expire!) don't think about June...

I am so grateful for the beautiful new designs that I had access to. Keep up the good work, Miss Veronika!

I hope you all had a very Blessed Easter and a wonderful week so far.

My favourite designs from cute embroidery, are the Nativity and Noah's Ark packs.
I am showing 2 pictures of design from the Nativity Pack - designs 4003162 and 3866297.

Best Regards
Anneliese

I was sooo scared my memberships expire before I'm done. Sometimes our internet is unavailable for weeks at a time.

This is South Africa, where telephone cable stealing is done very regularly. Once ours was stolen regularly once a week, for 4 week's running. And then neither the telephone nor the internet was available for up to 5 days, just to have the cables stolen again the very next day.

Luckily we moved, and in this area we only had problems 3 times in 4 months. But the one time we were without internet for a solid 3 weeks. The other times it was 2 to 3 days until the lines were fixed.

To download designs, you need a working internet connection.

Patience... Patience...

I'm too busy looking at all the designs to start a project. Which design to choose? What new project to start? Maybe this design, no, no, that one's prettier! Wait a sec, didn't I see something eye catching there? Choices, choices...

Hi,
I'm sure you can not imagine how long it took to download. I thought I'd never finish.

And my browser did not want to create pdf files for the colour charts, and I do use them. So I downloaded most designs without colour charts, then I realized I could save each colour chart as a html file. So back I went to download all the colour charts.

But it is done, at last!

And the first thing I did after downloading, was to make back-ups on an external hard drive. Yip, not going to take a chance to lose these babies...

Have a creative, fun, happy day!

Best Regards
Anneliese

my PC doesn't like to do PDF either, so I copy the print file onto a Word document and put like with like.

My other browser do pdf files, but it keep a history of sites I visit. My son checks it regularly to see how many embroidery sites I accessed, and how often. (Oops...)

So I use an old browser on which I've switched off the "Keep History" function, and this browser has problems with pdf files. But the html files are fine. You can use your browsers off-line for files kept on your computer, so it works like a charm.

I'm to lazy to copy it to word docs. Now I just say "save file", change the name to the design number, and off the colorchart .html goes to reside with the rest of the design files...

Have a fun weekend!

I got a membership years ago just to get this set. The Noah's Ark set is almost as beautiful.

Hi Shozo1271,

Here is the link for the Nativity set. It's just a bit frustrating trying to find things on here without a search engine. Love Chris
