Steamed Loaves - Was finally able to get some All-Bran, to try out Shirley's (saproctor) recipe. However, by the time I got the cereal, all the raisins were gone! So, no fruit this time. Didn't have any regular soup cans either, so I used some larger cans (#2's), and they turned out wonderful. DH and I enjoyed some already, and I want to take a loaf to an elderly friend, so I froze the rest. Thanks Shirley for this great recipe!

Oh yes, but get ALL ingredients at the same time, or you might find sticky fingers have eaten all your raisins!

I didn't have the size of can Shirley used either since we don't use many canned foods, but I used what I had available ( #2 size) and they worked just fine. Give it a go!

the #2 cans are bigger around, so how much did you adjust the cooking time or not? I'm just really anxious to try these!

mmmmmm good is right! Next time, I will try adding in some dried fruits or banana, as was suggested in the original post, and see how that works out.
