Just had a couple of sewing days in my bit of the UK. Loads of fun, constant talking, ideas passed backwards and forwards and some embroidery. We had loads of fun. Annie had brought a bottle of bubbly which was used to toast Scottie0903 with and share our memories of her and Sue spoke very eloquently about her late friend. Thanks for coming girls it was brilliant

Reading from the colourful stripy cardigan on the right, SueDewsbury, Asterixsew, Eggyannie and Mr Asterixsew with Meg the dog.

Oh, how your friend Ann must be smiling! That's quite a legacy to be remembered with such fondness by your dearest friends. So good to see all of you.

Ann was a neighbour of Sues. Annie and I had met Scottie at sewing shows we had all met at. We all live quite a fair distance apart so they stayed in their camper vans

First picture, two of the three witches in Caroline's sewing room.
Second picture, Caroline's mug tree. I had terrible trouble finding mugs to make a cup of coffee because all the mug trees were full of scissors!

Your friend Scotty drank them all, you don't have to cover for her...that's your story and you are welcome to stick to it. :)

I joined Caroline and Sue on the Thursday dinner time, That evening we all got together and Caroline did the main meal and i put the salad together and Sue provided a very tasty gingerbread pizza for afters.(you have to believe me it was deliciouse

We then left the men so that we could chat about sewing upstairs in a small room that just allowed room for the three of us to get into as long as we did not move about too much.

Sue left on the Saturday I think but i staid on till the monday morning and Caroline took me into the nearest town for a look around the shops and the day ended with a fish and chip supper.

Naturaly, there was sewing taking place and ideas shared so the entire few days together were peaceful and pleasant, Poor Jake (Carolines hubby) was greatly outnumbered but suffered us in silence and with great tolerance and many thanks to him for sorting out my small folding bike for me and putting air into the tyres.

Thank you so much Caroline for the invite to stay and i look forward to meeting up again later this year.
