This was my first try at embossed designs. They will be gifts. It is done on low pile terry. The red work is also done on the same type of towel. The RW is a "Cute" design. I would have liked the red work to show up more perhaps a different color would have been better. But they give an old fashion appearance and I do like that.

You figured it out and now I can see them. I like the embossed N. The redwork may vanish a bit into the pile after washing, but I like the design.

It took 3 tries to post and re-taking the pictures. Since I use solvy on top of towel I wash and dry them after making them. I'm sure the more they are washed it may very well not show up as nicely.

Have you tried embroidery with thicker thread? I have found using 12 WT thread for redwork towels has done very well. But, you don't want it for a dense design. This a very nice, and love the redwork one.
