Today's experiment in 3D applique - not 100% successful!
The petals and leaves are all made separately and turned through for nice neat edges. They are gathered to give the realistic curls. Unfortunately there was no way I was going to be able to applique a centre over all of that bulk so I resorted to a covered button and hot glue.
