Oh Lidia - this is gorgeous, as are all your doilies. The vase looks like it is made of cork, is that correct? I've not seen one like it before now. Just beautiful - vase, flowers, and especially, the doily. That border stitches perfectly each time!

Thank you, laffma. The vase is not made of cork but what you see is a layer of cork attached to the outside of the vase.

I'm glad that you love it, I do too! Martine has answered you about the size. The largest hoop of 200x360mm (8"x14" approx.) is the one I use all the time for the doilies, love it.

Oh Lidia,your doilies are all so beautiful and you do so well with placement.What 'type' fabric are you using for them? is it just one piece of fabric,no backing? I am amazed at how crisp and flat they are.-Toogie

Thank you, toogie. The fabric I used is drill cotton, just one piece and I hooped the water-soluble stabiliser only.
