Started scanning all the photos of my 5 children. Did some of my baby-twin girls (20 years ago) and found I did most of their dresses myself. I loved applique to decorate the clothes and also did a lot of knitting - today I wonder how I found the time to do all this with kids of age 6, 4, 2 (the boys) and newborn twins
Maybe lack of time today is to blame on the internet?

Toogie, I feel the same. DH was surprised when I informed him that our youngest is almost 34! Pat

Ohhh, what beautiful pictures and memories for you. I agree, we seemed to make time for things like crafts and sewing before the internet arrived.

Yes the lack of time is to be blamed on our electronic devices, be it internet, cell phones, kindles, just name it and that's where a big chunk of time goes. My weekends, I am on the internet too much instead of what I actually need to be doing, Sad but true. Sharon

Wow! How fun! Lovely children! As far as time, I totally get it and think that the young have a distinct advantage. Did you make their red coats with white fur trim?

Oh yes, it was exciting all the time - even now that they are all grown up... but tomorrow (first time after 26 years) my DH and I are going to Greece. Looking forward to this holiday a lot

it is amazing the things we used to do!!!!! i made a lot of my first childs clothes starting 43 years ago and barbie doll clothes and some outfits for myself,but my love was halloween costumes! i still do some costumes but now i quilt and do machine embroidery.also less of these as i get older. you have a beautiful family! thanks for the sharing
