This was going to be a set of 4 for Mother's Day, but I had a lot of bobbin thread come up & had to get the sharpies out. This design is from the country needle. Now I will come up with another idea.................. maybe a set of 4 different napkins? She really loves the hummingbirds. Of course I used Martine's perfect placement line here as well! Love it!

I should say that I used md weight stabilizer 2 layers on the bottom & a layer of wss on top & still the bobbin thread came up?

You did a good job of covering up the bobbin issue. Have you tried a different bobbin to see if that one is just messed up?

Doesn't that just frost you when the bobbin thread comes up! Even so it turned out beautifully and I am sure your Mom will love them.( You are the only one who will know you used that trusted sharpie.)I really love the hummingbird on this curve of the M.

This is a lovely napkin! I've done 4 different napkins before. There is no rule that says you have to have napkins perfectly matched.

Beautiful...usually if your bobbin thread is coming up, it is a top tension issue...did you try to reduce the upper thread tension? It might help..
