Not embroidery I know but while I was in Johannesburg I knitted Georgie a cardigan. Ben not wanting to be left out also wanted me to knit something. He choose the peach wool - thank goodness I managed to talk him out of the shocking pink that was his first choice!!! Only had time to make a sleeveless top.

Sarah it looks like you had a very busy time while away. Lovely work. I am taking it that Georgies cardi is made from variegated yarn?

They are absolutely beautiful. I love the idea of the alternating color for the buttons on the cardigan. Great job!

Sarah they are really nice I would love to knit but can not hold the knitting needles in my cripple hand so I just have to be content with crochet.

They are just perfect! I can't knit and certainly admire those that can do that and crochet.

Sarah have to laugh about the story with the color. Why couldn't Ben wear pink (I know he would hear many nasty stuff in that case; people are stupid and mean sometimes)? For a while Felix loved princesses and pink and glitter cause he sees this all the time at his sister. My husband always said he would be very stylish and maybe run a fashion blog later ;o) Maybe Ben just wanted a color that fits with Georgies cardigan?
Love both pieces and the buttons look so cute :-)
Greetings, Bettina

These are really nice. Love the little cardigan. but the vest is right up town for a little boy, he'll look so dapper in that and be as stylish as his twin. :)

Sarah, you are such a skilled knitter! These garments look store bought and I mean that in the nicest way.I can crochet, but it is not as lovely as knitting.Wish I could give you 5 stars because this is a 5 star job!

Toogie - you are far too kind. I only wish that I could make the bags that you do. To me - that is real skill.
