Try to ignore the old woman in the picture. This is my hat I had to ask hubby to help me remember how to use a compass. First try the brim was to big but this is my second try and what do you think. It is a ponytail hat for summer weather we have been getting too early.

I did make pattern it ties in back, it was easy once I got the compass and made hole and brim.
Great figuring your hat pattern.We need to team up-you make the hats and me the bags to match!-lol

Thanks, I am not to my next milestone which is 80 from there, Lord only knows. Oh I am getting mostly white lol. I had 7 hairs of white not long after I married. They say a head of white hair is a sign of wisdom. I got a ways to go yet.But the saying sounds good anyways.
well I'm sporting the MItt Romney look, white from the temples down, then lots elsewhere so my dark hair this still exists in sparse areas looks almost black, but never had black hair, just dark brown. lol! I asked a co worker yesterday and she said I might want to start coloring it again, as my white is mighty. Hahahaha!!!!

Ahhh shucks as the cowardly lion comes out. What a nice thing to say. It took me a while to come out from behind giving flowers and put up projects or talk and now look I got some courage and put my mug on here. Guess all on here is just growing on me. Love ya all.

Great hat for the summer! don't you hate it when you want to wear your hair back but the hat won't allow it or it's very uncomfortable sqashing the ponytail in my gd hates this with her school hat but it's no hat no play here in Australia..

Oh Mary I love it ") Much better than a ole' ball hat cuz this will cover the top of your ears where the skin is so tender. Honestly...the first thing I thought of when I saw this is, "she is an Angel" .... you have a Halo ... the two nodules on your back are where your wings are about to sprout ") Your generous, kind & have a pure heart. Great job! Love the idea! I have a couple hats that I don't wear when my hair is longer unless it' down - this will make a big difference! I'll have to give this a try!
