Wow Judy, they are just gorgeous. Ben and Naomi gave me a beautiful one for Mother's Day and I laughed and said just wait it won't last long! I've never had much luck with Orchids. I think yours are superb. Love Chris

Don't overwater. That is the main thing that kills orchids. Good Luck. Hugs. Nan W

simply stunning flowers, something I am unable to grow, I seem to kill them quite easily.

I can manage to keep them about 3 years and they are very prolific and beautiful. Yours are gorgeous. Please tell me they aren't planted outside. If you did plant them outside, I give up! Do you have any tips?

Yes most of our orchids have spent time planted in the garden but since the shade house has been rebuilt & husbands health is good again ,all the orchids have been repotted. All the orchids are extremely happy ,& flowering so well ,some have to be sold .You don't need a dozen or more of the same orchid

You may have a problem now. I looked at them. They'll probably die. I'm death to any kind of plant. And I do love them. Hope that doesn't hurt yours.

I doubt it.The garden has survived all sorts of horrible episodes since Dec 2012 & you looking at photos from afar wouldn't even rate.

Beautiful, They are a wonderful find. For those who said they can't grow orchids - 90% die from over watering. IF they are in sphagnum, pull the whole wad out of the pot to check if they are dry enough to water again. (or use clear pots where you can see thru to the 'wet' line. A pencil tip or a bamboo bar-b stick .can be stuck in to check the moisture level of any potting mix. Also don't let the pot sit in water.

Delightful cymbidium, I love the colors. Did it come with the registered name?

I think it might be cymbidium tracyanium or hybrid of it.It was growing in the ground for years until husband decided to divide it up & put it into pots. The last 2 months have been wet but according to the weather man June is going to be dry & El Nino is going to start again so our plants rarely get over watered
