Ever wonder what you can do with all those bits of loose threads. Many have said in the past to put it outside so the birds can feather their nests with it so I did just that & only just this morning as we have had so much rain yesterday. & when I went out to get the mail I scared off all the birds but this is the wonderful site that remained. Isn't is neat that there is another use for everything. They are still in the process of creating this home for their family & I am happy to have contributed to colouring their world. So very neat!

Lovely decor. I leave mine out for the birds, too. Making sure that none of the threads are too long so no sweet bird gets one hung on their legs or wings.

I did the same with my batch too, & a very good idea.

I do that too, I put all my thread clippings out in my garden!!! I have been watching the Orioles picking up the threads, but haven't found their new nest yet. So fun to see your thread hanging from their nests! *Flowers*

Isn't it nice to "see" their nest I'm sure by the time they are done you will spot the nest with all that wonderful shiny thread in it. ~hugs~
