Very nice looking grasshopper! Some bugs really are pretty, I'm thinking especially of those iridescent beetles. While I'm not into bugs they can be very fascinating to look at, except for the cockroach, ugh......

The variation in stitch type really add depth to this design. Reminds of when I was a child and would spend afternoons in the fields catching grasshoppers that look just like this one!
