Have just taken a "dream" trip I've wanted to take for 15 years to the Florida Daylily Mecca. Google Daylily Mecca and then click on some of the garden links to see the gorgeous flowers I got to walk amongst with my DH (also my driver, map reader and tour director). It was unusually cool for Florida in May, though not cool, and yes, even with a hat and hiding in shade, I got sunburned. By the end of the week I was so tired I was confusing the words digitizer and hybridizer. Hey! Both great designers with fabulous colorations. I am so inspired, but can't stitch yet because I have a "few" daylily holes to dig. I highly recommend this trip, especially if you are in the Southeast. It's all near Disney, though combining Disney with daylilies would be way overloading your brain.
