Mine is usually up to his hobbies of upcycling something, listening to Taiko drumming and fiddling with his glider and plane. Both are retirement projects with the fun of working on them and not the flying

Mine is no longer on this earth, but if he were he would be getting dinner ready, watching sports or cooking shows on TV. I was so blessed. Did not have to cook the last 15 years of our marriage.

Sounds like you were very spoiled by a lovely man who loved you very much. We should all be so lucky.
by graceandham 24 May 2014
Mine cooks, too. IF a woman cooks, she's just doing what's expected, if the man cooks, he's spoiling her. Hey, I "spoil" my guy by keeping a beautiful yard full of flowers and few weeds, and "all" he has to do is sit on the riding mower and prepare the background for my flowers -- and grocery shop and cook! hehe
by crafter2243 26 May 2014
True. Never thought about it his way.

Mine has lots of things to keep him busy. He is in to astronomy big time, he has a celestron 8 se and a mead 16 " newtonian telescope. Takes pictures of the planets and whatever else he finds up there. He also does ships in bottles, each little piece handcrafted, taken apart and carefully put in the bottle. He has 4 in US museums. He also plays quitar and practices everyday. In between all that we have animals to take care of and a garden. Hugs..Carol

My husband would be out mowing the lawn. We have an acre so it takes him awhile, all the rest of the lawn work. He also reloads ammunition for his and everyone else guns. ( He is a hunter) He enjoys reading western stories. I go to the library often to get books for him and also for myself. And of course there is the TV!! He likes the history channel and the military channel. (he is retired Air Force)

Mine plays golf & loves any sport on TV. He has just taken up woodturning but is only just starting. He goes to his shed and plays and I go to my shed and play. Who ever gets thirsty first makes coffee. He also has taken to doing the cooking which I am loving. He is fully retired but I am still part-time. He also loves the gardening.

My Better Half has model trains which he spends a lot of time with. He makes Engines etc. He also plays the guitar (a Martin D28 ) which gives him a lot of enjoyment. He cuts the wood to keep the fire going and me warm in the winter. In his spare time he does the grocery shopping and cooks the dinner. He is the BEST. Shirley

My DH said he didn't know how he found time to work before he retired! The UPS man thought he was employed by the church! He's always around to go visit, help with projects, etc. Then he has a wonderful garden & tries to keep the rest of our 3 acres mowed! AND of course we get to keep baby Carrie 2 days a week! Today he went up to help son load up some brush in our truck...he said he got the light duty; holding Carrie while her mommy went to the store & her daddy did all the cutting & loading!! He also reads...lots! AND at 71 is still playing softball!! Softball for Seniors, but he calls it Tee Ball for Seniors!! Plus he spoils me rotten!!

Mine is a fine guitar player and is honing his skills continually. He has been in Rock bands, Blue Grass Bands and now he is back in a '70s rock band. He also flies remote control airplanes and helicopters, but mostly juggles back and forth between airplanes and guitars. I'm the only thing that has held his attention constantly for very long. LOL

Hi Sue,

Trev is still a workaholic! Always on the computer marking papers!! He is an adult educator and LOVES HIS JOB! Although he is only part-time, he works more hours than I'd like to mention. When I'm sewing or working in my room he is in his room. He also loves to get outside and looks after our lawns, Mum's lawns and Amy's. Good question, love Chris

P.S. He doesn't play an instrument, cannot sing in tune and is tone deaf! I'm the singer, so make up for his lack!

What a super question. Mine plays golf twice a week and tennis three times a week. When he is home he is on the computer as he is chairman of the tennis club. He is an avid reader and walker/ hiker. He can cook but doesn't!!!! but he does most of the shopping for me. I dread the day when he will perhaps not be so active. Oh, unfortunately he hates gardening :(

It would seem that we have wonderful, active husbands who are just as talented as their Cutie wives. Maybe they are our unsung heroes doing their thing leaving us to ours

Mine is a cricket umpire, an allotment holder and has a greenhouse, but needs 16 hours of oxygen a day. I hate the weather being bad so he can't be outside as he gets fed up being inside, though he never complains. Jo

My DH is either at the airport flying his plane or at home working on some part of it. He also does all the yard work at home. It is nice that they all have hobbies too.

my sewing room is upstairs and the other room upstairs is my husbands music and recording room, we try to go to our play rooms together if possible, I am retired and my Husband has ill health, he had cancer three years ago and even though it is in remission it has left him very weak. He has been in bands most of his life as a bass player and even though he cut two fingers off the year before the cancer. he still manages to play an Irish bouzouki.
Hugs Pam.

What a great question! Maurice spends almost all his free time working on his website. He's built it from scratch and updates it daily. He takes care of the lawns but the flower/veggies garden are mine!!! He's a fantastic cook and usually cooks at least once a week which spoils me rotten! He's my biggest supporter of my sewing and embroidery. He bought me my first embroidery machine about 6 years ago because he thought I'd like doing it! He is retired from the US Air Force and works part time as supervisor at a local Pharmacy. We both love science fiction movies and tv and he always plays his music and if I'm sleeping he uses his ear phones so the music doesn't wake me. He was in a car accident on this past January 2nd. and has been home since then. I love having him home and don't look forward to him going back to work next month. He loves to watch the sky and also watches the military and history channels on tv. Best of all is that he is very intelligent and we talk for hours about different things. I am very blessed to have him.
