As I sit in my office I can breath a sigh of relief why you might ask....................well there are here in the kitchen installing my cupboards!!!! YEH & we are told that he will have them all done today! The appliances come tomorrow so I just hope that everything all fits in where its supposed to ! Then another 2 weeks & the counters will be installed! It is finally going to be a kitchen again! For those of you who have already been here is there anything I should be watching out for? Anything that you have had happen when you went through this? My only worry that I can think of is tomorrow when the appliances all come in if they will all fit or not? I would appreciate any tips so I know what to look out for

I am happy for you! I do hope your kitchen is finished without any more issues. I had appliances that were delivered damaged. There were dented during transport I was told...they offered money off the dented appliances or I could wait another week for new ones. My friend had to wait two extra weeks as they delivered and tried to install the wrong counters. I think you have already had your share of delays and issues. I hope it all goes well from here on out.

They better not come scratched because I have waited my hole life to have this kitchen & I have had to make do with scratch & dent all along so now I would like to have everything pretty! I will not hesitate to send it back if there is the slightest scratch. I have waited this long so I can wait for them to bring me a new one but I SURE HOPE I DON"T HAVE TO sigh!

i always look for scratches or dint's in my appliances .They dented my refrigerator and it turned out to be a $500. dollar dent off for me:):)

My friend who redid her counters this spring had to MAKE them remake the top 3 times before they got a big gap out - poor measuring. She said how much money could they have made, they had to cut three countertops when she only paid for one, three days pay for the installer, three days or more for the cabinet maker to cut the pieces, plus 3 round trips of 160 miles each! Make them fix it right away if it is wrong, will be hard to get them back later!! Hoping it will all turn out beautiful and you will happily cook away in your beautiful new space.

well there are coming back to finish the job in the morning & the appliances come tomorrow as well & the counter people will also come tomorrow to measure for the counter that comes in another 2 weeks time so another busy day here. Then I have to go to the Brain Injury to help set up for the auction. That is of course after they told me today they were short small gifts for the golfers treat bags! Silly me said I would see what I could do? Have no idea why I said that? But as moms & nana's we get used to the asking can you help..........................I need it right away....................Please! So how can I say no to that!

I can't wait to see photos. Take some, even though it is not finished. I have only done minor adjustments. They knocked out a wall with a door and added 6 windows across and a window seat to make a breakfast area. I never had new cabinets. Lucky you!!!

it is a stressful time & you have to be so picky or you won't get what you asked & paid for. I am not much of a fighter so I will say some extra prayers that they are kind enough to fix everything right without arguing over it.

this is an update on what was yesterdays mistakes. I worried all night long what they would say & how they would react about the mistakes that we saw & were not happy with . The stress was overwhelming, but alas it was all in vain............we called he came he said I will fix it all NOT A PROBLEM! I am so relieved & grateful, now I have faith that they will complete it just the way we want it to be.I will do my best not to stress & believe that it will like so many of you have said it would be wonderful! thank cuties for letting me vent my worries. ~hugs & **~
