Caftan top with Urban Threads "delicate neckline" design. The fabric is polyester crepe, quite heavy so it drapes well. I started with a rectangle folded into 4 and pressed to mark the position of the neckline. I added a V-shape to the design to attach the front part of the facing and just finished the rest off on the sewing machine. The outer edges are overlocked and then hemmed and the side seams stitched last of all.
I'm now thinking of adding part of the design to the front corners. I'll sleep on it first!
