Thank you! The fabric is drill cotton and the stabilizer is water-soluble Vilene.

Thank you Lidia, they just look do perfect, no wrinkles or bunching. I still find myself having some problems. Did you use Vilene on the top, too?
I didn't use Vilene on top. I have stitched out the outline first, and that has kept the fabric firm, then embroidered the rose design at the four corners. After rinsing the Vilene out and drying the doily, I spray-starched and ironed it
