Hi Cutes Again! Let's try this one. I am looking for the website that take a name and creates a Christmas tree from the name over and over again. I loved it and thought I had saved the picture and where it was at, but again, my computer crashed and catching up on a new computer and starting Christmas as I can get it done. Does anyone know the website, PLEASE? Thanks sew much! Grammy

I have been looking for quite awhile. I know there was a question about it a couple of years ago and I even made a tutorial on how to make them in 5D and Embird, and put it up here, but I can't find that post or the designs in my stash.

No wonder I could not find the designs or the tutorial - they were made shortly before my laptop was stolen in an burglary and I had not backed up for the last few months before that.

That must have hurt. All those designs you have lost... We had a burglary, but my PC still has a stiffy drive in it, so it looked ancient. Luckily they thought it was too old to have value... All the other electronic stuff were cleaned out.

More details of the tree is each name is a branch that builds the tree.

Here's a picture of the sort of thing you are looking for. Maybe someone can remember where to find them. This is one I made.

I saw the question on the name Christmas trees today.
What size are the finished designs?
Is it possible to make it into an ornament for the Christmas tree or will it be to large?
For a pillow design or ornament, would it look right if the birth date was put down the middle between the right and left names? Giving me some ideas for Christmas and I had better start soon. LOL Thanks.

I made mine fitting the 4x4" hoop. You could stitch them on felt and cut out the tree shape.
And, yes, you could them with the date as the trunk of the tree. I would choose a less ornate font so the first letter could then be moved closer to the trunk - the swirl of the N would be a bit too large.
It all depends on the name - and your imagination - to get a nice design.
