GAMMA KNIFE BRAIN SURGERY UPDATE.
Had my Gamma Knife Brain Surgery today. Went at 7:00am, got fitted for head restraint, tranquilizer pill so slept when it kicked in. Slept 1 1/2 hours in machine. Was released from hospital at 11:30AM and have been busy since. I felt this was such nothing painful, nothing scarry. Going to do other side in a year.
Essential tremor can be treated by 3 methods.

I had Gamma Knife Surgery about 7 years ago. About the same as you described. I was so worried about it before, but it went smoothly.

My DH also has a tumour in the brain. He unfortunately has Alzheimers and they cannot do anything at the moment. Hope you keep on feeling better and heal well. God bless!

This is not a tumor. The treatment over time kills cells in a small pea sized part of the thalamus that cases the shaking. I do believe they also use this on inoperable tumors.
