Reorganizing downloads and converting files to my format - Been at it almost three hours, till the eyes quit working. I'm just amazed at some of the beautiful designs we have been gifted with, especially from Liane Stitch. What a wealth of beauty. Makes it well worth the time devoted to making sense of them all! Fun, fun, fun.

That's a job and a half, poor tired peepers...but at least they are enjoying some of the pretties you have. :)

It's a great thing to do and feels great when it's all organised. Love Chris

And that is why I keep on collecting. Designs are like flowers. They are all different and all pretty. I can sit through a storm and be content looking at beauty instead of violence. Keep working at the reorganizing. It is worth it.

I have a love/hate relationship with reorganizing my designs...love to see them...hate to organize them...

Only three hours???!!! I have spent at least three hours a day for the past five unzipping and organizing going back to 2013 while hubby is gone on a business trip this week... still have about 1200 files to go to catch up this year! Good grief, our hobbies can get out of hand.

I too do it in batches, then just stare at the beauty!

ain't that the truth...but I look at it this way, they don't eat much; nor do they take up a whole lot of room...:P LOL

I agree everyone has been so generous, I have some beautiful designs but for the life of me I don't think I'll ever get them sorted. I read once that it's good to keep them in folders labeled with the site they came from and that's what I started doing, but from that I have other folders of what the design is like birds animals people. and when you unzip you take your format and color chart and picture and put it in another file but then I'm afraid to delete the zip. so I'm buried in folders. Is there such a thing as being addicted to embroidery designs? lol

Hi, I'm Jerrilyn and I'm addicted to embroidery designs.
(no offense meant to anyone in a 10 step program)

Back-up your designs before deleting the zip to feel more comfortable. Back-up often!

You are not alone. I keep everything. I have Cabonite to boot, and had to recover 3 times since I joined. I do not know what machines I will have in the future and I like my designs to be "original", yes conversion works, howevr sometimes the colors convert incorrectly, and if I do not have a CC. Anyway, I also have a categories folder where I put my favorites, I do not have enough time just to do those!

Jerrilyn, I think we all belong in this program with you. LOL
