You get through the holidays but they are changed. Sometimes it's easier to downplay them the first year of a loss. Benny's birthday and Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming. Make plans now - think quiet and simple. This picture so reflects the love with which you raised and cared for your children.

Jan, one cannot look at this picture without seeing the love Willie has for Ben! (And, Ben for his dad!) Willie's strength, patience, and support of a son with special needs gives the word "Father" a whole different meaning! Willie was brave, steadfast, proud, and loving in meeting his challenges of "fatherhood"! Hope he will remember these words each day, and every Father's Day to come! Benny was surely smiling down yesterday, and saying, "Great job, Dad! So glad God gave me to YOU! Thanks for our good times together! Happy Father's Day!!"
