I have a new computer and lost most of my favorites. Can anyone tell me where to look for directions to make a mug rug, or pillow top like those displayed a couple of months ago that were made of strips of fabric that went round and round in an octagon shape? I don't know how else to describe it. I think Sue made an ITH pattern that made a small one for a mug rug. Thanks.

I have purchased the 'coffee mug rugs' from Oma's Place. They are ITH and work well.

Here is the link to the table topper quilted mat. NOT made in the hoop, this came first, then the inspired creations of Sue Dewsbury to make coasters-available at Mygardened. I've made quite a lot of them and really like how they look.

Thank you so much, ladies. It was the one at Vickie's Fabric Creations that I had in mind as I did not want to do it in the hoop, since I will be winging it for the size.
