I have started to make furniture for my dollshouse. This is the comfy chair. The pattern on the chair is embroidered so is the doily.

Yes it is made of card covered with wadding. The seat is balsa wood.

This looks great. I made one along the same lines and glued small wooden beads on the base as "feet" to just raise it up a little.

That is just like a chair I saw in a shop only it was covered in patchwork velvet. I really wanted it but at $600 passed it up.

I Know that they just totally go over the top with pricing dollshouse items. The rigs I embroidered would cost an arm and a leg to buy. Much more fun to make them.
