I finished my coasters. These designs are from EmbLibrary, they were VIP designs with an order. I also used, as always, the nifty CD coaster design from Sue! Loud and splashy but I like 'em!

Thank you! I had to quit in between coasters to welcome that new grandson so it took me awhile to finish them. I am not nearly as prolific as you!!

Thanks. Sorry, I forgot to mention it is leather on top and felt on the bottom. I used "recycled" leather from a old coat!

These are very vibrant, but very pretty on the leather, never would have thought of using that. Great job. :)

Thank you, you'd be surprised how well machine embroidery works on leather. Just make sure it's not real hard or spongy.

they look great with the leather center you know it won't drip through onto your table.. was it easy to stitch..

Thanks, it does stitchout well. Just make sure you have a design that doesn't have a bunch of holes in places that aren't stitches as the holes will show some.

They are VIP designs. When emblibrary has a happy hour for those who ordered the month before, sometimes they have VIP designs that you get if you order during happy hour. These were great.

I never thought of using leather for coasters! These are really nice coasters. Did you use a leather needle? Did you put the felt on the back after you stitched it out.

I made them with Sue's CD coaster design for ITH coasters. The felt went on while it was ITH and stitched to the front on the last step. I did not use a leather needle.
