Come on sisters (brothers) let's all do the happy dance.....

We caught momma cat this morning......I am in disbelief that we finally got her......our vet tech is coming to pick her up this afternoon and take her to the clinic until they can spay her, at least she will be cool and dry until then..
now it is imperative we catch the last remaining baby, as she is too young to be out there without her momma....
we have not seen her yet this morning......

Congrats Some cats are just trap savvy and hard to catch. But eventually you get them. HOpe you find the little one..

Congrats on a good catch! Will she come live with you and the kittens?

If we can't find any one to foster the kittens then we will just have to release them along with momma after they heal....we just don't have anymore "cat" room in the house, typically they hang around the outside where we have cat feeding stations and also cat house around the property.......a lot of work, but rewarding...

I know....we decided to put the live trap under the shed that we know momma was keeping the kittens, hopefully we will have success with that.......we stood out there over an hour with the carrier and a string and she wouldn't come out.....we could see her little white paws sticking out so we knew she is in there.....

I am so so glad you got the momma finally, and I see from the other post the last little baby!!! At least this round is over, and there won't be any more from this batch. I pray you can find homes for the babies, once they can be socialized, if they can, being young enough. Every one of God's creatures deserves a safe home, I pray for that every day! Big hugs for your good news! Marji

PS This is Polly, my 17 lb feral, who is sometimes nice, and sometimes, well, not. I've had a tetanus shot and a long visit to the emergency room because of this pretty girl. The wild in her is never very far below the surface, but I love her dearly.

Beware of the dilating eyes, when Gandalfs eyes go black watch out ,the claws & fangs attack(22 sharp weapons in his arsenal)

Oh, Marji, she is gorgeous....I think ours (the 3 we brought into the house) are going to look much like her...they are small though and slim, but they run around burning all their calories......one of our 18 yr old ferals (Tux) has a personality like your Polly....you can sure tell a feral from a domestic even after you socialize them....as you said, the wild runs just below the surface!
I just got a call from our local "PAWS" and they are putting out the word for foster home for the babies so let's hope!!

Wonderful news! You are such a good person. Wish more people would learn responsibility for their pets so that this problem would become non existent and you could just enjoy your pets without having to worry about the strays.
Definitely doing a happy dance.
