Nice work! I didn't understand the European obsession with putting polka dots on mushrooms, but two weeks ago I finally saw a real polka-dotted red mushroom in my own yard. I'm in my sixties and now I know it's not fantasy, but based in reality. I "collect" the mushrooms in my yard by taking their pictures.

they are pretty to look at. but DO NOT EAT THEM.they are poison.
The most of our mushrooms "Fliegenpilz" have polka dots, but only that kind, others are without.
