I'm so so glad you got them all, and now there will be no more babies from these! That truly is an answer to a prayer. You truly are a saint to take on this thankless job, and God bless the vets that work with you to help end this overpopulation problem. Granted, they really are cuter than bugs, but they need homes, not to be out fending for themselves, getting in fights with other cats and larger animals, picking up worms and even worse and fatal diseases, then passing them on to other cats, and reproducing whenever that urge hits. It's not their fault, it's just instinct, they can't help it. But PEOPLE can help it by getting their animals spayed or neutered as soon as the vet says it's ok, because that time is longer for the boys than the girls. The little guys need those things to develop a proper urinary tract and large enough urethrea, or they sometimes end up with lots of bladder problems and kidney stones. So many people I know out here in the country get a little miffed with me when I preach spay/neuter--"Well, I always find good homes for my kittens!" Yes, but every good home you find for yours means some other one ends up on death row. And if your kittens aren't fixed either, then the baby machines just continue, the problems continue. I don't know why this is such a hard concept to get across, but sometimes there's such great resistance to it. And we DO have low-cost spay/neuter clinics offered in the area. Granted, you have to travel maybe 25 miles into Erie, and pay a small fee, nothing like the full vet fee because these docs donate their time, but the supplies do cost money. I think it's just plain lazy, and dare I say sometimes stupid. Some of these people are the same ones whose 16 year old daughters are "smuggling watermelons" into high school, too. Maybe they just don't know how the whole thing happens? Sigh. I bless you, Vicki, I don't know how you keep from getting frustrated out of your mind by the ignorance. I hope so much that you can foster and place the kitties, so they'll have a chance to be indoor cats and snooze on beds instead of taking their chances in that big nasty world full of coyotes and other things that eat cats for lunch. From some of the pics, I think there must be a Russian Blue somewhere in that line. Thanks for taking the time to do such great and meaningful work, I can't imagine how many lives you saved by just getting this whole bunch fixed! You're a blessing to us cat lovers, hugs, Marji

Congrats! I have three ferals I feed outside. A mama and her brother and mama's last kitten. I fixed them all a few years ago. I call them Mama, Pixie and Uncle Tom. Pixie is mamas last baby and Uncle Tom is Pixies uncle. haha. So I know how hard you work to capture them , get them fixed and care for them.
Hey I am down to 18 cats. Two leave this week to their new homes. Chloe and Winnie . Chloe is doing great and gaining weight. She is over two pounds now. Yeah! Suzanne

GREAT NEWS Vickii! Last night I was dreaming of cats being locked outside and yelling at Ray to help me catch them, so you see your 3rd feral baby was on my mind and I am so relieved and grateful that you caught her.
It breaks my heart when I learn of animals being mistreated and when STUPID people won't listen when you try and educate them.
I cannot understand how anyone can be cruel to animals, they are God's gift to us to care for, to love and to know the joy of their pure love in return.
God bless you girlfriend, and other Saints like you, for all that you do to give the unloved fur babies a better life.

PS Spanky says hello, from his chair beside his Mumma, and thank you for your prayers. He has lost nearly FOUR pounds and is down to 19 lbs since I took responsibility for his feeding away from his "too loving" daddy.
