Just an update on the kittens, they were 2 lbs so the vet was able to spay them, yes, I said spay....all 3 were girls..
our neighborhood would have exploded with cats had we not caught them........vet ages them at 8 weeks old..... the girls at the clinic were given the orders to handle them every time they had some spare time, so they are already starting the socializing.....Andi is going to foster them for now until we see if we can home or foster home them......will let you all know if we get them homes!

I didn't, but I think Andi may have........she is fostering them at her house in hopes to get a good home, being as she is head vet tech at the clinic, she has good contacts....Andi is the gal that saved Graycie...she came twice a day for months to syringe feed her....God Bless her!! This 3rd baby is the cutest by far.....she has the tabby silver brown on her head, back and tail and the rest is white......

Great news!! A trick I have to know their age is that kittens gain weight at a pound a month. Thus 2 pounds would be about 8 weeks old. A vet told me that. Thought it may help you out. You can get the feral out of them easily at this age your window will be to get them before they are past 12 weeks old. After 12 weeks they have already turned feral . You can still work with them and change a lot of them with love and patience.. I changed a two year old feral who was a a vicious mom. Very protective. She had bitten people the year before when they tried to help her. I captured her and her 7 kittens. I worked with her for months. She became a lovely cat who loved to be brushed She now has a forever home. Molly was the first feral I ever converted. Now I convert a lot of them. Right now I am down to 18 cats that I am caring for until they get a home. Congrats on your work I know it is a hard job but worth it when you see a homeless cat get a loving home or nurse one back to health. Suzanne

Momma is not happy....poor girl, she must be feeling slightly better as she is showing more sass when we go feed her and scoop her box.....her 3 babies that we kept in the house that we caught in Oct last year were 6 months old when we got them and with patience and love they are now integrated into our "brood", so where there is a will there is usually a way to at least socialize them.......Out of the 3 litters (that we know of) we caught and had fixed only one was a male, the other 7 were female......high percentile of female!!!!
