We are working on some finishing touches and revamps all over my house.I just finished the dog food bag on the left it stands as I used stiff stabilizer inside bag. The dog is a cookie cutter type traceing I did. The paws I am not sure where from and the font was basic computer. The bag on left I made several years ago. Just tired of it being so floopy when food gets low. The jars shelf just got put in for my dehydrated or dried stuff. It is supposed to get trim around it this week.

I enjoy passing out flowers to everyone. It is really good that during that time you can't hear me sing, "I'll give you a daisy a day dear".

No this funny girl tells and I mean tells you she is ready for breakfast and supper. Her and hubby discuss it. Gets very comical at times. If she gets loud I tell her then she does this low tone speech thing from there it is ... what do good girls do and she sits down waits for the bowl to be put in front of her. Now if we got a good people something which she thinks she is. We get one of those paw swipes, a chin in lap, a sigh etc till we share a noogie bite.

Thanks :) I have had happy puppies that would have also. I just close the paper bag inside. Thought about adding a flap but did not need as she gets hubby to get me and we go through our silly routine for food.

Great job on the bags. They add such a nice touch to your home. Would love to do something like that - but my Greyhound and little Pittie Mix would have a field day!!!

What a fantastic idea! I've been looking for those 5 or 10 gallon old fashioned pickle jars to keep dog and cat food in, but I like your idea too!

Thanks, the bag on right with red I used 2 of those plastic pickle style jars like pretzels etc comes in and put dog food in to help bag stand then just filled them and pulled out the jug. Once I realized my gal was not a dig in the bag girl I just put bag in the bag.

Those are just the neatest! I need to send this picture to my daughter for her dog food. I love this bag idea to store things, so homey! I suppose you need a quite heavy material. Very nice.

Thanks. I used burlap and recycled some stiff stablizer I had used in making some acordian style curtains. I got bored with.

These bags are such a good idea.. just an idea have you thought about putting eyelets in the back of the bags so they could be attached to hooks to keep them upright.. they look so much nicer than the bags the food comes in or a large garbage can which is what we used.
