Walmart here has there summer things on for half price .So i bought these two place-mats for a buck each.Now to jazz them up right??The corner designs caught my eye and i just had to sew them their so weird but a good weird lol.Their from Mia Kay Eschar Insprations,i will give these to my sister for her gazebo .

The bear is from Sick and thee owl i have no clue but he has at least 100 jump thread :(:(i won't sew him again lol

I like the Esher inspired birds a lot. The owl looks pretty but why it should have over 100 jumps is beyond me. The darkest colour (is it black or brown) could easily be jump-free. The gold would not need more than two jumps. Terrible digitising!
Luckily that does not show in the finished design. Your placemats are beautiful.

Thanks for the warning on the owl - I have it and it is a free one, I'll change it's title to "owl with jumps" <wink> to make sure I'm in the mood to sit with snips if I sew it.

Hi Carolyn I got some of the same placemats at our Walmart, but they came 2 to a pk with napking to match. Napkins are striped. Got 2 pks in the blu and got 2 pks in coral. Napkins are the same with both because they have the blue and coral stripes in them. gonna do what you have done when I get a chance, Thought they would make a nice wedding shower gift this summer with a couple of hot pads to match.
