Just wanted to give an update on our kitchen renovation nightmare. Today they have come with the doors YEH but they have again taken away the drawers to have them redone & have been told that we want them back today. He said he would do everything he could to have them redone & back to us today? I am not sure that this will happen today & dear patient hubby has had it & has called to tell them we WANT THEM BACK INSTALLED TODAY! I sure hope they come back & finish this as I am so disappointed with the whole experience that I just want it done & over with..............on a brighter note the cutting board that was promised by the counter people has arrived today & it is a lovely thank you gift matching our new counter & measures 12 by 14 with good sturdy feet A very nice size!

of course we have this in our livingroom as there is no place to put it in the kitchen, but this too shall pass LOL. The picture doesn't to it justice it is a beautiful pc & as you can see it has many bits of colour in it so easy to change the kitchen colours when the mood suits lol

Really...storage in the living room, hm? Who knows you maybe starting a new trend. Lol. I do think it is a pretty cutting board and you are right it will easily lend itself to color changes. Perfect choice in counter tops!!! Sorry you are still having trouble. :-}

remember to iron trim on all 4 sides showing i did that to mine and i think they just look a little nicer .You buy it by the roll at Rona or Canadian tire .hugs

Looks to me that they have put the trim on the sides. If not they should have done. Hugs Shirley

It's lovely and I hope you're almost done!! We once had floors with all different color specks and I loved it dearly. You could slop spaghetti sauce on it and it didn't show, which is to say everything blended in with the many colors!

Sorry to hear about your redo kitchen problems. Hopefully, it will soon be completed with corrections! The cutting board is very nice. Glad you at least had one good experience out of it.

Otto (a new guy) has come back & he has brought & fixed everything!!!! We have to live with it for the week & then see how everything is but I think we have finally made it. (we still have to do the back-splash & put everything back together) But I think they have finally got it right! Otto did such a nice job that I wish he would have been the one to finish all of it for us! He even tidied his mess..............Thank you all for your encouraging words that have helped us to do the right thing by "putting our foot down" I think because hubby called today & last week & spoke to the owner we can now say tentatively the job is finally done after ordering everything in March here we are in July & I think the cupboards are all good now! The nightmare is finally over! Maybe now we can actually start to enjoy our space...........

Oh! dear Loralye, what a time you have had with your new kitchen. It's so frustrating and I hope it will all end soon. I know when we had our kitchen done 4 years ago getting the cupboard doors just right are a nightmare. Good luck with it all and I can't wait to see the final pictures. Love Chris

I thank you too Sarah, it is nice to vent my frustrations here rather then directly to them. I think we are almost finished with them & am thankful they sent Otto to finish the job & hope it is he who comes back to fix the sound too. ~hugs &**~
