These are beautiful!! And I know there are thousands & thousands of stitches in them! Have you sent photos to emb lib? If not, you should. Maybe they would be featured in projects!

Do you set s price or do people make bids on it? If a price, how much would you ask for it? I see a LOT of stitches in there!

I sold 2 last year one like these for $20.00 and a larger one for $30.00. They never made it to the table outside. The ladies inside grabbed them up as soon as I put them down. Up until last year they did the silent auction thing now just sell straight out. I think I will ask more this year. Thanks

These are fantastic! It would have taken me a year to stitch these out. You absolutely need to ask for more, especially since they are made for a church fund raiser!

Can you share what kind of fabric/stabilizer you used on these? I haven't quite mastered stitching on a quilt type fabric.
by icana 04 Jul 2014
The fabric is a good grade of 100% cotton. For most of them I only hooped the fabric and attached a sheet of medium wt tearaway from allstitch with a shot of adhesive to the back. I saved a lot of stabilizer this way and they turned out perfect.

I'll have to try that. Thanks!
