My husband is home! A friend conspired with Rob to bring him home saving me the nearly 70 mile round trip. I was grateful he was here to help bring Rob into the house. Rob is very weak but very happy to be home. He is still draining bile, but only a tiny amount. Now the goal is to regain strength and increase his calorie intake. Thank you to all who have prayed and supported me during this difficult journey.

I am so thankful he is home and you had help getting him there! I worried about that. I hope he continues to improve. Remember to rest whenever he does -- your job of taking care of him can take its toll on you.

Yay! I know that you and he are so glad! What a blessing to have help getting him home. Would you ask his doctor to give ME an order to increase my calorie intake? I never get the good instructions! Blessings on you both.

Dear Karen,

So thrilled that Rob is back home and that he had a friend to help him. I really believe we heal better in our own familiar environment. Besides, you actually never get to rest in hospital as the nurses are always coming round checking on your vitals. Do you have a community nurse coming to check on Rob? I'm not sure of your health system over in USA, but here we can have a community nurse drop in to check on your progress.

As I said in my private message gaining weight is easy for me! he he he! On a more serious note, I do pray that Rob can gain a few pounds and that his strength will return. I agree with rescuer, make sure you look after yourself too. Who mother's the mother, when the mother gets sick? Love, prayers and blessings to you both Chris

I am so proud for you to have him home Karen. Let the healing begin. No place like home if you are able to be there. I think he will get better and better ea. day. I truly know how difficult this has been for you., but now your heart can sing, He is home!!/Lillian
